ALL CITY NATURE CROSS WEIGHT PROFESSIONAL
The new All-City Super Professional cyclocross bike is the bike many of us want to put together but never have time to. Designed with inspiration from All-City’s cyclocross line, the Super Professional is what the brand calls “the daily crusher of your dreams.” For 2020 All-City is back with the Super Professional, available in both geared and singlespeed builds as well as a frameset. In the six years to follow, All-City noted that many of its frames were pressed into commuting and utility service.
The company instead focused on all-road bikes. While the frame has been updated to include a rear thru-axle, the product launch in 2014 was the last major addition to the All-City cyclocross lineup. Both lines were updated to include disc brakes and more recently, the Macho King, made of Reynolds 853 tubing and featuring a tapered headtube with a thru-axle fork, was released. In the decade since All-City has expanded its cyclocross lineup to include the geared Macho Man. It doesn’t seem all that long ago that we first looked at All-City’s Nature Boy, a singlespeed cyclocross bike. With a fresh paint job, all the All-City custom touches you’ve come to expect star here too, including custom seat collar and dropouts, flat-mount brakes, and star reinforcements on the bottle bosses and fender mounts. Built with an Eccentric Bottom Bracket to manage the chain tensioning, a shortened chainstay, and replaceable derailleur hanger, we’ve also outfitted the Nature Cross with a Columbus Futura carbon fork with adjustable rake, tapered head and steerer tubes, and clearance for 700c x 42mm tires. Stronger, lighter, quicker, and stiffer than ever, it’s simply unlike any other singlespeed in the world.įeaturing modern race geometry and an ovalized top tube for easy shouldering over obstacles, we’ve increased the Nature Cross's mud clearance to eliminate unnecessary pit stops on the course.
